In memory of Lisa Marie Guevara

On Friday, August 23, 2024 my Mom (Lisa Marie Guevara) was taken into Methodist Emergency with chest and neck pain. She immediately demanded to have imaging to scan for cancer.

Unfortunately on August 30th she guessed correctly and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the most aggressive rate. She began chemo the following Monday, September 3, 2024. She had big plans to beat this, as we all did. We were prepared to support her and help to overcome such a tragic situation. For 2 weeks she remained strong and fought so hard. She remained in good spirits despite the pain she was going through. Then the 3rd week came, she suddenly started to have confusion and memory loss. Chemo treatments had to be put on hold due to organs being affected and starting to fail. Her health began to rapidly decline. She was in so much pain, it would hurt your soul to witness.

On September 20, 2024 at 5:47pm she passed. The overwhelming feeling of pain and loss will remain within our family, friends and anyone that may have known her. Although she is now gone, she will never be forgotten. Those of you that knew her for her bright smile, funny jokes or even the times she had to put you back in line, we ask for your support and prayers as always!
