Lisa Lungaro Recovery

There is never an event or fundraiser happening at the Palmetto Bay American Legion that Lisa does not put 100% into. She always puts everyone elses needs befor her own. It is time for us to show her how much she is appreciated and loved.

As many have heard, Lisa had a motor cycle accident the day after Christmas.  Gravel on a turn in Homestead got the best of her and the bike went down.  She has had her second surgery and things are going well. Once they are able to finaly close the openings from the compartmentalization the orthopedic doctors can do the third and hopefuly final surgery. Although the scrapes and bruises will heal, her leg (and her ego) will take a while longer. Her recovery will at the least include no bearing of weight on her right leg until the tibia has healed, doctors have said 3 months. 

Durring this time Lisa still has living expenses and new medical bills.  This will be difficult on her as she will not be able to work either of her jobs. She has done so much for others in the communities, it is our turn to reciprocate. Any and all help is truly appreciated !!
