Lisa Korthals Memorial Bursary

This fund is designed to create a living legacy to the memory of Lisa Korthals. It is intended to create a bursary to be used by women to help them get a start in their Mechanized Ski Guiding career. This campaign is the first step in creating the bursary. Once the bursary is established, we are hoping to get corporations and people to commit to an annual contribution to facilitate the long term viability of the bursary.
We are now at the point where we are starting to withdraw the funds that you have all graciously donated.  To do this, we have asked Bob Sayer, one of the Directors of the Canadian Ski Guides Association (CSGA) to be a beneficiary of this fund so he can transfer funds. He has accepted this task. 
We chose Bob because of his involvement with administrating the CSGA since it’s inception, our respect for Bob and for his trustworthiness. Bob was also instrumental in his development and mentoring of Lisa during her journey towards becoming a ski guide through the CSGA. Worthy applicants will have their  CSGA course paid for from these funds. Bob has also been a great source of advice for those of us on the Selection Committee.  Please join us in thanking Bob for his involvement and continued assistance to us as we move forward with this project.
