Lisa Jacobs just lost the love of her life in an auto accident. Her husband, Scott,was less than two miles from home when he had a motor vehicle accident. Within seconds of the accident an individual was at his side, but Scott had no signs of life. The cause of the accident and death have been ruled undetermined.
Lisa also lost her beloved boxer Katrina, who was her constant companion for 12 years, adding to the tragedy of her soul mate Scott’s death. Scott was returning from leaving Katrina at the veterinarian’s when the fatal accident occurred, compounding the loss of Scott, Katrina died 12 hours later.
Lisa is the most wonderful person you could know. She is a nurturing, loving, giving, generous and kind person who puts all others before herself.

The tragedy continues to unfold:
* Scott did not have life insurance
* The vehicle was totaled by the insurance company
* The auto insurance did not have replacement coverage beyond paying off the 2 year old vehicle and had no accidental death coverage
* Lisa now has no health or dental insurance
* Her multiple chronic health conditions require frequent routine follow-up visits with multiple specialists
* Lisa, due to chronic health conditions requires expensive medications, some are preventing her from becoming wheelchair bound
* Monthly medication costs $6744.43 total, her single most important medication is $5614.43 alone (market costs of prescription drugs vary)
* Lisa has been out of the workforce for some time due to her chronic health conditions and is not receiving any disability benefits
* Lisa has known outstanding medical bills today of $950
* Lisa has house payments of $1,176 a month, with a $118,389 mortgage remaining
* Lisa has monthly utility bills of:
1. Garbage $55 (average)
2. Electric $300 (average)
3. Water/Sewer $55 (average)
4. Propane $120 (average)
5. Phone/Internet $250 (average)
