Lisa was diagnosed with Kidney Disease in August of 2016, and she was being treated periodically with IV Chemo treatments to help stabilize her kidneys. THEN her body took a turn and she got very sick in August 2020. Lisa was told that both of her Kidney functions were at 10%. She was treated very aggressively, hospitalized for weeks, with multiple surgeries, and was told she was at end stage renal failure.
THANKFULLY, a group of doctors were able to get her stabilized. On December 3, 2020 Lisa met with her KIDNEY TRANSPLANT GROUP and was screened for a possible transplant and is awaiting her test results to confirm she is a candidate. Lisa is due to return to see the transplant group in Feb 2021. In the meantime, Lisa is currently having Kidney Dialysis 3x/week. The average wait time for a kidney transplant is 5-7 years.
Lisa has gone through so much since 2016, I cant even begin to explain it all. There were times that she was ready to give up, BUT Lisa is a TRUE FIGHTER! With your help & support I know she will be grateful and she will continue to fight to find her donor and will be stronger than ever.
Lisa has not been able to work since August 2020 while under doctors care and going to DIALYSIS. Her monthly bills are becoming worrisome for her. Lisa is already going through enough and needs ONE less thing to worry about.
