I want to thank everyone who has helped us through this. Your thoughts, prayers, words, and support has meant so much to us.
I also want to let everyone know that today (04/07/2021) mom made her transition.
The reason the goal amount changed is that earlier today was when we got the total cost for everything. With everything that happened, I was not able to update it as soon as I found out. The first amount that we had was missing some of the cost that ended coming upon us.
Hi Friends,
We are coming up on the time to say goodbye. Unfortunately, this has come upon us way before any of us were ready or expecting it to. This past January we learned that Lisa has kidney cancer and we were unable to conquer this fight.
As the time draws nearer, a lot of people are asking what they can do to help. As I am writing this there isn't much that can be done. My mom has come home to us on hospice and we are just trying to make her transition as easy as possible while surrounding her with all the love. Because of how unexpected this was we were not prepared and so one of the things that people can help with is the cost of the funeral and all that comes with it. This is hard to ask for and even harder to put down in words but anything that anyone is able is welcome.
Thank you all for your words, thought, and prayers. We appreciate all of you and are so thankful for the people in our lives. As Lisa's daughter I could not be happier with the people who my mom has drawn to her to spend her life with and the lights that have surrounded her.
