Lisa file for bankruptcy

Hello, my name is Lisa Luttrell, back in July 2025 I went to the hospital for severe side pain thinking it was just acid reflux but ended up finding out I had a badly inflammed gallbladder, gallbladder infection and gallstones. I had to have emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder that day.

The hospital bill came out to be over $65,000 for everything. After speaking with the billing department over the course of a couple weeks I was able to get it lowered to $15,000 but living on low income, paycheck to paycheck, I can't afford to pay the monthly payment the hospital wants and they've threatened to send the bill to collections and garnish my wages.
