Our wonderful friend Lisa has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, and she is now facing the biggest challenge of her life.

Lisa has dedicated her career to the NHS as an A&E nurse, caring for people in their most difficult moments with skill, compassion, and tireless commitment. She is also a devoted mum to her two young boys, who are the centre of her world.

Now it’s our turn to give something back to Lisa, to surround her with the same care and support she has always given so generously to others. This fundraiser has been set up to help ease some of the practical and financial pressures she may face during her treatment — such as travel costs for hospital appointments, childcare support for her boys, and help with everyday household expenses while she is unable to work.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference and remind Lisa that she is not facing this journey alone. Together, we can give her the space and support she needs to focus on her health and her family.

Let’s stand beside Lisa now, just as she has always stood beside others.

I've had so many people sending lovely messages asking me for updates that I thought it would be easier to post on here.

Tommorow marks the start of my chemo journey, with a brand-new PICC line to help me through the process. It’s a little overwhelming stepping into this next chapter, but I know I’m not walking it alone.

I can’t put into words how much the love, encouragement, and support from all of you has meant to me. From family who have been my rock, to friends who have shown up in ways big and small, I am truly blown away. Every message, call, and gesture has reminded me that I am surrounded by so much love and strength. ❤️

Cancer picked the wrong person — and with this incredible army behind me, I’m ready to fight.
