Hi, Lisa Ferns had a Major Medical Emergency on February 17th. That morning her family found her unresponsive on the bathroom floor. Ambulance was called and she was taken to Albert Lea Medical Center Where they found she had suffered a massive stroke caused by a blood clot. She was immediately flown by Mayo One helicopter to Rochester St. Mary's hospital and underwent emergency surgery to remove the clot from her brain. She spent 9 full days in ICU and is still in the hospital in the acute brain care unit. From here she will need rehab for a while. Probably 3 weeks or more.

Her road to recovery is going to be a long journey. She still struggles to speak or use her right arm or leg independently. With the love and support of family and friends she will pull through. Lisa is a very strong and amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to everyone she knows.

All funds raised will be used to pay for medical expenses. Please help if you can. Prayers are the preferred help but any and all help is welcomed.
