Lisa Craft cancer healing fund

Hi, my name is Dawn, and I met Lisa several years ago as our daughters attend class together. Anyone who knows Lisa knows she is one of the most humble, self sacrificial, giving, godly women you will meet. She is not one to complain or ask for help, not even throughout her cancer treatments. She in fact didn’t ask for help here; it was something God put on my heart to talk to her about.

Lisa has been battling a rare form of cancer, thymoma, for almost 10 years now. She has done it with so much grace. She has followed through with everything the doctors have suggested including multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. She has tried diets and looked into other possible treatments. Because her cancer is so rare, the doctors are at a point that they don’t really know how to help her. Her last surgery was unfortunately not successful as they were not able to remove anything. She was told another surgery is not an option. Another shot at chemo is a small possibility but since her cancer is so rare, they don’t really know what kind to use for her or that it would even help her; furthermore, she is still dealing with the painful side effects from previous rounds.

There is a center for alternative/integrative treatment for cancer close to home in Irvine. I mentioned it to Lisa and she admitted she had looked into it and really wanted to give it a try. However, the cost is high and would not be covered by insurance. So this gofundme is to help Lisa get access to another doctor and treatment plan so she can have some hope and look forward to making many more memories for many years to come with her beautiful family.
