We’re starting this GoFundMe in hopes of helping our mother be able to afford bills, living, and travel expenses while going through this difficult situation.

Medical and health care is expensive for a single person living alone. With that being said, our mother has no health coverage or part-time disability. She will be off from work for the foreseeable future. Today, she got some devastating news regarding her health at MCHC.

She will have trips back and forth to The University of Kentucky hospital and need surgery. Her first appointment will be Friday, April 11th.

For now, until she feels comfortable, gets more answers, and has time to process the information given to her today, we’d like to keep the medical issues to ourselves.

We will keep everyone up to date once we share.

Everyone knows our mom as the lady who works at “the junction” Double Kwik. But if you’ve talked to her at all, you’d know that she never stops going. She is always at work, talks to everyone, and loves to be outdoors and with her grandbabies.

I hope that our community can come together and help her to worry less about bills and travel expenses while she’s navigating the next few weeks ahead. We understand that it’s hard times for everyone in our small town and know that not everyone can give. If you can’t, that’s okay. We ask that everyone keeps her in their prayers and ask that she be added to your prayer list at church.
