Supporting Her Family and Honoring Her Legacy

With broken hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Lisa Christine Valade-DeMelo,

who left us peacefully on the morning of July 28, 2025, with her husband Anthony and

her mother Karen by her side. Lisa faced a sudden and aggressive cancer diagnosis

with strength, grace, and courage — traits that defined her life.

Lisa was so much to so many: a devoted wife, an adoring mother to her incredible twin

daughters Mabel and Nora, a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin,

friend, and colleague. She was also dog-mom to her beloved mini-Schnauzer, Bean,

who brought her great comfort and joy.

Lisa leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and brilliance. She was a source of

unwavering support, laughter, and light to everyone around her. The suddenness of her

passing has left an unimaginable void in our lives.

We’ve created this fund to support Anthony, Mabel, and Nora as they navigate this

heartbreaking loss. Donations will help with immediate expenses, funeral and memorial

costs, and provide some financial security as they adjust to life without Lisa — a life that

will always carry her memory forward.
