My name is Billi Childress. I made this gofundme to help with the cost of cremation and a memorial service/celebration of life for my mother. My siblings and I just want to give my mom a proper send off.

My mom has been battling cancer for about a year and a half. Today, we found out that she is currently in the hospital after we called an ambulance to take her because she hasn't been eating. She is septic, and we found out that the cancer is now in her brain, her spine, her liver, her lungs, her lymph nodes, her tailbone, throat, and her pancreas. She hasn't been able to eat solids in about three weeks.

Her condition worsened quite suddenly and we are not financially prepared to cover the cost of a funeral by ourselves. We would like to have a handle on this before she passes so that we do not have to worry about not being able to pay for a funeral while we are grieving.
