L.I.S.A Bali’s 1st Suicide Prevention Helpline

With 80% job loss in Bali, and 93% of mental health services shut down in 2020 throughout Indonesia, suicide has risen dramatically in both the Indonesian & Western communities. MOR Project has teamed with another 10 NGO to build a network of volunteers and professionals to manage the mental health unrest of many persons on the Island of the Gods.

L.I.S.A. (Love Inside Suicide Awareness) Helpline Bali, caters for Bahasa Indonesian & English speaking persons in need of mental health assistance. The Bahasa Indonesian helpline has been operating 24/7 from 6th April 2021, with the English speaking helpline soon to follow in the month of April.

MOR Project together with another 10 NGO the (Bali Bersama Bisa Community), aim to toward offer the fully functioning L.I.S.A. Helpline 24/7 with 11 NGO services and supports attached to meet the needs of those seeking mental health support.
