Lisa Baggott Moy Medical Bill Assistance

Hello everyone- Justice Moy here. I'm making this Gofundme account for my mom, Lisa Moy. She recently had some severe medical problems, and only now is the dust starting to settle.

On the morning of November 24, 2023 (only four days after her birthday) I woke up to the sounds of her having a stroke or seizure. She was unresponsive to the paramedics, and was transferred to the local emergency room. Her incoming diagnoses were: Diabetic Ketoacidosis (in short, her blood was turning acidic), Sepsis in her right leg (blood infection), Encephalopathy (brain dysfunction), Renal Failure (kidneys shutting down), Dysphagia (not being able to swallow/breathe properly), Hypothermia (low body temperature due to organ failure). Shortly thereafter, she was moved to the ICU, where she was placed in a medical coma for 9 days. The situation was dire. Four different doctors told us that they did not expect my mom to survive this ordeal. They also said that if she did, it could result in her having all or part of her right leg amputated. Mom spent a total of 38 days in the hospital. Thankfully, this story has happy ending! She made it out alive, still has her ENTIRE right leg and has been recovering well ever since!

However, we need your help-keeping her alive was NOT cheap. She has some monumental medical bills for such a long stay.
