Lisa Baer needs our help!

As most of you know, she suffers from Lupus.   She’s been having some issues with her foot, but has avoided surgery at all cost because exposing herself to Covid would be life-threatening.  

She’s in the midst of hard times and has had to spend the last few weeks in her Jeep.  She finally took herself to the hospital a few days ago in which the Doctors told her she was septic from her foot. She had to get a blood transfusion and is on a steady drip of antibiotics.  Monday she may face amputation.  The Doctors are holding her as they are stating that she is in critical condition.  Although optimistic, she is honestly coming to terms with the fact that she may not make it through this with the current state of her immune system.  

She’s having difficulty typing as she’s experiencing severe neuropathy in her hands.  If you’d like to contact her, she will check her FB messages when she can.  

She’s at Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna.  

The dogs were with her the first few days, but because she’s not mobile, they had to go into the care of an acquaintance.  

I understand we are all faced with difficult times right now, but any support you could spare would be a godsend.
