Lisa and Kids

On January 23, 2017 tragedy struck a family in our community. As I'm sure many of you have heard, my sister, Lisa experienced a house fire. We are thankful that everyone (including the dog daisy) managed to evacuate the house and no one was injured. They did however lose everything in the fire. This single mom of four is one of the strongest, empathetic, most caring people you will ever meet. A great mother and role model for her children. She always puts her children and their needs first. Since the fire she has had to take many days off work to sort out what to do next, to find a new (temporary) home for her to start to rebuild their lives and to be with her family, who are obviously very shaken with the experience. For anyone who knows Lisa, you will know that the last thing she would ever do is ask for help from others. She is very strong and independent. For that reason alone I have started this page for her. I am asking you to help her and her family. Lisa just recently, before the fire, had saved up to purchase new furniture and new beds for her and her children. If we could help her replace those items it would mean the world to her. Please come together as a community and show your support to her and her family.
