Cory and Lisa’s Medical and Living Expenses

I am trying to help my niece Lisa and Cory, the father of her two youngest children, one who has special needs, get some help to get through the difficult financial times they are experiencing.

Lisa is recovering from recent extensive ankle surgery and last week Cory went to the ER with a heart attack at age 45! He has had to have lots of tests and finally had 2 stents placed in his heart. He has had 2 hospital stays over several days time. He cannot go back to work for at least a week.

Lisa’s surgery has meant she has had no income from her job as a cna for 3 months and needless to say the bills are piling up. They have 2 little boys still living at home and a teenage son as well.

While Cory has medical insurance through his work as a mechanic for a small shop in Maryville, he will no doubt owe thousands out of pocket for copays and deductibles.

Prior to his heart attack Cory injured his bicep at work in January and had to have surgery. He was out of work from January until April. He received workers comp during that time but it wasn’t enough to keep the bills from getting behind.

Any financial help you may offer them will be appreciated so very much and will be used to help them get caught up on their bills and pay the medical bills that will undoubtedly be rolling in any day.
