Firefighters found all occupants outside of the home, and flames ripping through the home from the attached garage. Wind speed accelerated the fire.
Many contents were able to be saved by the firefighters. Loss between contents and the structure is estimated around $290,000.00. One firefighter was taken to the Sauk Prairie Hospital Emergency room to be examined for precautionary measures and has been released from the hospital.
