Lisa, Adrian & Marie Lose All!
Donation protected
Paradise resident and 2nd Grade school teacher Lisa Dorame, her husband Adrian & their daughter Marie (their 2 dogs) lost EVERYTHING in the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA a few days ago. They escaped with their lives with walls of fire on each on each side of then.. Adrian's car stalled with he 2 dogs and he had to find water within the sea of fires. He almost passed out but came to, tried his car again and coasted down Skyway to Chico, a harrowing ride. By now, they lost their car, cat Percy, medicines (Adrian is disabled and has epileptic attacks), Lisa's work (She is a 2nd grade school teacher), clothes, personal belongings, family photos they can never get back. Everything! Now Lisa cannot work until they rebuild the school, Adrian cannot get his medications until he finds a doctor in another city, Marie cannot go to school, their dogs are cooped up with all of them in a truck, cramped and homeless.
Mostly Lisa needs cash for her truck, food, Adrian's prescriptions, Marie's prescription (anxiety), dog food for 30 to 60 days! By then her school should have set up mobile units for her to teach. They will hopefully identify a new home in Chico to rent , Marie can maybe do online school and the dogs can continue to be service dogs to Adrian.
Lisa is my sister and Adrian my brother in law and Marie is my loving niece. Their dogs are Maulie and Pocomo or Po.
They need gas, food, dog food, shelter and meds. If their story touches you please give what you can. Thank you kindly. :)
