Harvard, here I come!

As my grandparents always told me “échale ganas a la escuela, mija,” I’ve put all my effort into my education. As a first-generation college student, daughter of immigrants, and DACA recipient, I overcame many obstacles and was blessed with a generous scholarship at Berry College that brought more opportunities than I could have ever dreamed of. The biggest opportunity and blessing is being accepted into Harvard for my master’s in education!

It is my dream to attend Harvard, but even with 36,000 in scholarships, I still need 24,500 to make this possible. All of the funds will be applied toward tuition. No donation is small, and each dollar will be received with immense gratitude. Thank you, and God bless you!

Como mis abuelos siempre me decín, "échale ganas a la escuela, mija", he puesto todo mi esfuerzo en mi educación. Soy estudiante de primera generación, hija de inmigrantes y beneficiaria de DACA, superé muchos obstáculos y fui bendecida con una generosa beca en Berry College que me brindó más oportunidades de las que jamás pude haber soñado. ¡La mayor oportunidad y bendición es ser aceptada en Harvard para mi maestría en educación!
