***UPDATE: CLOSING DONATIONS. WOW.*** I am absolutely floored. Literally. I have been sitting on my floor trying to type this for the past 10 minutes. We hit the goal in 2 hours. And here I thought I had a couple days to plan out a t-shirt or two. I never expected such an overwhelming rapid response and such generosity from so many people. I cannot express how much this means to me, and I’m sure I’ll try to do it through song when I get Liora home, but wow. I am trying so hard not to just type fffffffuuuuuuuuuwow okay. Thank you all, so, so much. I’m so grateful and so amazed and just... wow. The next update on Liora will be at 9:00 AM (EST). Until then I’ll be trying to remember how to talk. The Smartest Cat in the World and her Just a Normal Guy roommate are humbly asking for your help. Last night (9/15/20) I noticed Liora wasn’t running around as much as she usually does, and hadn’t touched her food, which I immediately took as a sign something was wrong (the lady loves her salmon).  Later on she started burning up, and by this morning I was finally able to get her to an emergency vet clinic.  She is currently spending the night there being treated for an infection, and is (as of 9/16/20 at 9:00PM) stable and resting.

With my job still on hold due to COVID, her vet bill is a major blow.  I’m creating this GoFundMe to hopefully help ease the burden a bit while I work on a plan for some potential merchandise instead.

I’d like to say a massive thank you to anyone and everyone who has been following Liora/tolerating my voice for this past year.  I am beyond grateful.  I still can’t really believe she’s made such an impression on so many people, but then again, she is no ordinary cat.  Whether you are able to donate or not, the support of our virtual roommate’s means absolutely everything.
