Lion Kingsbury

September 4, 2024 is now a date of sorrow for a devastated family, and has impacted friends, and former coworkers and people whose life he had touched.
Lion Kingsbury, age 20, was involved in a pedestrian/car collision outside of his hometown of Orillia, Ontario. Lion did not survive the accident.
Lion was the baby of his family: parents Donald Kingsbury and Holly Stevens, and his older siblings.
I am happy to have had the chance to know and watch a teenaged Lion grow into a promising young man. Lion was part of the Mid Ontario Disposal family for a few years. He worked in a work placement position as a high school student, and tried out working in the garbage industry as a full time worker, after his high school graduation. He was a quiet, soft spoken young man at the workplace. He showed himself to be reliable and willing to attempt any tasks asked of him. Lion enjoyed music, video games and could often be seen traveling on his skateboard. He loved his long blond hair, which suited him!
I am creating this Go Fund Me account to help ease any financial burden this unimaginable event will cause for Lion’s grieving family.
If you feel that you are in a place to help financially at all, any amount will be appreciated.
Thank you for any monetary help and for thoughts of strength and love sent to this family as they heal.
