My son, My baby, my precious LJ. My best friend. He was born on April 7, 2005, and just celebrated his 18th birthday this pass good Friday. Indeed it was a good day. Lj was such a loving soul. He loved me, his grandma, his dad, brothers and sisters. He was an exceptional student at Miramar High with over a 3.0 GPA. He was my first true love. My heart was ripped from inside of me and I don't know how to hold it together or even pick up the pieces. Lj's dream was to be a fighter pilot for the U.S. Air Force. He was a part of the civil air patrol and did his first discovery flight at Perry airport in Miramar on november 2019 with Lt. Col. Willard Shepard, a Golf warfighter, who is also a five-time Emmy award-winning journalist and attorney. He was accepted and has been attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in dual enrollment and had A's and B's and was so excited to be on board. He was a wonderful son to me. He helped with everything from taking out the garbage, cleaning the house, and babysitting his 3-year-old brother. He adores his little brother and often time calls him "little Youth". Every time he leaves the house he would kiss me and say "see you later mom I love you, I got you". April 11, 2023 was the last time I'd hear these words. He was so kind and selfless in all his ways. Never in a million years, I would think today a week after my son's birthday I'm picking out Casket and burial spots. I was suppose to be picking out graduation suit. Never would I ever imagine burying my son, my son was suppose to bury me! I need assistance for legal fees to obtain an attorney. Thank you #justiceforlj
