Get Back on my Feet Again Fund IG@michea.iam

Hi!! My name is Michea Walls. And I humbly need help. I have tried on my own, and I am struggling. I had to take a leave this semester of my senior year of college at Sam Houston State University. I have tried to find the funds to pay for school by Door Dashing with a car from my grandma, but it isn't enough to pay for what is due. I have $7,900 past due.

I was able to go to start college with the support of my family. However, that support stopped when I came out to them last June. I try to understand that my parents are very religious and I still speak to them, but they are not supporting my dreams of working in the musical theater industry.

It is very difficult to be a person of color at my university so I did my best to try to find opportunities outside of school. I was able to attend the LINK Program under scholarship and have signed with an agent, The Daniel Hoff Agency. This gave me validation of my talent. I did have to put the travel expenses of LINK on my credit card which I am working on paying down. My rent is $570 and I have been current on that payment.

Being able to have an agent has been great for me, but i struggle to be able to afford any in person auditions in New York, because I have to prioritize where my money goes.

I know I am missing opportunities to break into the business because of my financial situation, so I am asking for help. I want to finish my degree because I am so close to getting a diploma.
