Linh & Orion - Vietnam

Orion and Linh are going to Vietnam!  

Our family is finally taking small steps toward what we have envisioned God's purpose for us to be; to go and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ overseas.   We will be doing this with the Good Samaritan Medical  & Dental Ministry (GSMDM), a missions organization based  in Riverside, CA that shares the Gospel through medical healing. 

Armed with absolutely zero medical knowledge and a 7-word Vietnamese vocabulary, we will be helping a team of about 20 doctors and 70 volunteers  bring medical care to patients in remote villages of the country. 

Orion has been assigned to bring snacks and food to the volunteers while they are working and helping with the childrens ministry.   Linh has been assigned to help with the mission logistics.  Although neither are very good at their jobs, the love of Christ will compensate for their shortcomings. 

Mission fees and ticket prices this year run about $1200 (each).  Since neither Linh nor Orion have real jobs, they'll need a few bucks from friends and family and a whole whole lot of prayers.   Anything extra will go to the organization.
