Lindys Breast Cancer FIGHT

Hi ….as you all know I am battling a very rare form of breast cancer called triple negative, that is also very aggressive.  I have one more month of chemo to complete and then surgery is scheduled following the completion….at the end of August.

 

Many of you have asked how you can help me and as you all know I am never one to ask for help….I’m so used to being SO STRONG, and SO INDEPENDENT.  But, a friend of mine suggested giving this a try…..so financial stress won’t come into play and I can just focus on getting through this….and hopefully moving on with my life!!!  

 

Being a single mom….with NO HELP FROM ANYONE IS SO HARD….If I were able to focus completely on me and my treatment and my children without stressing IF I AM ABLE TO WORK (yes many days I just can’t! ) for just the LAST TWO/THREE MONTHS of this process it would be HUGE…I firmly believe. It is so DIFFICULT being a single mom of two teenagers, going through chemo, and dealing with the fact that I have more funds going out than coming in. I’ve NEVER been in this position and let me tell you it’s horrible! I have burned though my savings and that within itself is devastating. I’ve worked so hard for everything I have all by myself and to see it slipping because I am sick is more devastating than I can put into words.

 

I miss ME. I hope someday very soon I can be back to “ normal”. . .

 

In any regard, I always appreciate the prayers and uplifting comments. They really do help me keep going. You have all been amazing to me.

I am sorry I don’t reach back out to many of you as often as I should but to be completely honest many days I am in fight or flight mode and feel completely withdrawn.

 

Any little bit helps!! Please know I am not looking for sympathy…just some help…when I am likely at the lowest point of my life. Thank you in advance. Love you ALL!
