As a fellow mum, my heart is breaking for the family of Lindy Junus, who tragically passed away on Monday 3rd November after suffering a sudden brain haemorrhage from an aneurysm while driving on October 31st.

Lindy was the devoted wife of Michael and the loving mother of two beautiful girls Jasmine 4 and Tiana 2. My own son attends the same small, close-knit family daycare in Jamisontown that both the girls and my son have been part of since they were just one year old.

While we didn’t have a deep relationship, we shared that quiet, mutual understanding that comes from being mothers the morning drop-offs some easy some not, the tired smiles, the proud moments, and the deep, unconditional love we all have for our children.

Lindy’s sudden passing has left our daycare community heartbroken, and her young family facing unimaginable loss.

Like many families, Lindy’s relied on two incomes to stay afloat. With that no longer possible, her family is now facing significant financial hardship and struggling to remain in their home.

I have created this GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses and provide financial assistance so that Michael, Jasmine, and Tiana can stay in their family home the place filled with the girls’ most cherished memories of their mum.
