.Please Help Bring Lindsey Home
I would like to share with you the story of Lindsey Delgado. A beautiful vibrant young woman whose infectious smile could light up a room. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help those that had a need. Not only did she love people and had the ability to make everyone around her feel special, Lindsey loved animals and rescued a pit-bull whom she called Lucky.
Lindsey graduated from Southside high school in the spring of 2022. After high school she dreamed of becoming a physiologist and was enrolled at Ivy Tech College in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Lindsey’s future was bright; filled with hope and much promise. She was on the path of becoming a first generation college graduate.
On Wednesday June 14, 2023 Lindsey traveled to Kissimmee Florida for vacation.
She hugged and kissed her family intending to return home within a few days.
On the afternoon of Saturday June 17, 2023 tragedy struck and the Delgado household was about to be forever changed.
This beautiful daughter, sister, niece, cousin and granddaughter was involved in a horrific car accident. She was transported to Osceola Hospital in Florida and admitted to the ICU where she remained on life support.
On Wednesday June 21, 2023 Lindsey succumbed to her injuries, she was surrounded by her mother Mayra and sister Emily as she slipped into eternity and went home to be with the Lord.
On Saturday June 24, 2023 Lindsey donated her heart, liver, lungs and kidneys to transplant recipients. Her life saved four others. She will continue to live through these individuals.
Today we are asking for your help to bring this beautiful vivacious young lady home to Fort Wayne, Indiana where she can be laid to rest.
Please help the family through your gifts and donations to make this possible. It is extremely costly to ship a casket from one state to another. Any gift or donation will be greatly appreciated.
We sincerely thank you for your prayers and donations.
The Lord God bless each of you for your kindness and generosity.
