Lindsey Needs Your Support Through Chemotherapy

It’s with a humble heart – and honestly, a frightened one – that I’m reaching out for my beautiful daughter, Lindsey, and her equally wonderful husband, Kurt.

This is a plea I never imagined I would have to make.

Not long after their wedding, Lindsey and Kurt were hit with the words no family ever wants to hear: cancer. Since then, they’ve been living in a fight they never asked for – appointments, procedures, scans, surgeries, waiting rooms, and a constant fear that follows them home.

Lindsey has already endured multiple surgeries. One of those surgeries took something from her that no one should ever have taken away – the chance to have children. And for a while, we truly believed the worst was behind them. We thought they had won.

But the day after Christmas 2025, their world collapsed again.

Lindsey’s cancer returned. She is now undergoing chemotherapy.

Chemo doesn’t just attack cancer – it takes a toll on everything: her body, her strength, her peace of mind, and it has impacted both Lindsey and Kurt emotionally, physically, and financially in ways that are hard to put into words. There have been countless missed days of work for treatments, side effects, recovery, and the sheer reality of what it takes to survive this. The savings they worked so hard to build have been drained just trying to keep up.

And even with private insurance, far too much of the cost is not covered.

That’s the part that breaks me: watching my daughter fight for her life, while also having to worry about bills, deductibles, medication costs, travel, and the endless medical expenses that keep coming. Crowdfunding for medical care isn’t just a heartwarming story – it is a systemic failure. The financial weight becomes its own kind of sickness – one that no one battling cancer should have to carry.

Asking for help is painful. But they cannot do this alone.

If you’re able to donate, any amount – no matter how small – would mean the world to Lindsey and Kurt. Your support will help cover treatment-related expenses and relieve some of the crushing burden so they can focus on what matters most: Lindsey getting through chemotherapy and healing.

If you’re not in a position to give financially, please consider sharing this page or keeping them in your prayers. That kindness matters more than you know.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion, your love, and your support as Lindsey fights this war against cancer.
