Lindsey and Marshy, really need your help
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out because my beloved dog, Milo, urgently needs an MRI scan, and I’m hoping for help to make that possible.
Recently, Milo began showing signs of severe pain and difficulty moving. After several vet visits, we were told he may be suffering from Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) — a serious spinal condition in dogs. IVDD happens when the cushioning discs between the bones of the spine become damaged or slip out of place. When this happens, the disc can press on the spinal cord, causing intense pain, nerve damage, difficulty walking, and in severe cases even paralysis.
Right now, the vets strongly believe Milo has a slipped or ruptured disc, but the only way to know exactly which disc is causing the problem is through an MRI scan. This scan will allow the specialists to pinpoint the location of the damaged disc and determine the best treatment plan, which could include surgery or targeted therapy.
Unfortunately, the MRI scan alone costs £4,000, which is far beyond what I can afford on my own. Without this scan, the vets cannot properly diagnose the problem or move forward with the treatment Milo urgently needs.
Milo is not just a pet — he’s family. He’s been my constant companion, always full of love, personality, and joy. Seeing him in pain and not being able to help him is heartbreaking.
I’m asking for help to raise £4,000 so Milo can get the MRI scan he needs to locate the damaged disc and give him the best chance at recovery.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page could help us reach someone who can.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Milo’s story and for helping give him a chance to walk and live pain-free again.
With gratitude,
Marshy and Lindsey
