Last year Lindsay passed out in the shower and ended up in the hospital. She expected them to tell her that she had a concussion and that she needed to go home and rest. She was told instead that she had to stay overnight because scans showed that she had bleeding on the brain. The next day further scans showed that she had a brain tumor. She has been having to see a neurologist and cardiologist for additional heart problems as well. Unfortunately the medical insurance didn't cover a lot of the bills and she has over $40,000 in medical bills. It doesn't stop there though. She found out recently that the tumor is growing and causing major migraines. Starting next month she will have to start chemotherapy in order to shrink the tumor. She can't have any surgeries until this is done and can't have the tumor removed right away because she has to have other surgeries first. She is living life as positive and actively as she can. She still manages to hold a full time job, go to school, and volunteer with her local fire department. We are starting small with this campaign for now but would appreciate any support given.
