On October 9, 2025, we learned that Lindsay has a life-threatening congenital heart anomaly called ARCA (Anomalous Right Coronary Artery). She is expected to undergo open-heart surgery within the next few weeks to save her life.
These past few years have already tested Lindsay’s strength. After several major surgeries to remove fibroids—ultimately resulting in a hysterectomy. She continued to push forward. In the midst of all of it, she accomplished something remarkable: she graduated from nursing school and became a Registered Nurse. Caring for others is her calling, and her goal is to return to the career she loves once she’s fully recovered from this upcoming surgery.
We’re starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden on Lindsay during this challenging time. The funds raised will go toward medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, travel, and everyday living expenses as she focuses on healing and recovery.
As an adoptee, Lindsay never had access to her biological family’s medical history, something that could have alerted doctors to this condition much earlier. This lack of access to critical health information is a silent struggle that many adoptees face, and it’s a reminder of how important awareness and advocacy are for adopted individuals.
The road ahead will be long, but Lindsay has faced every obstacle in her life with grace, courage, and faith. We’re asking for your support whether through donation, prayer, or simply sharing her story to help others.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Let’s surround Lindsay with love, hope, and faith as she takes on this next battle toward healing.
Please donate, share, and keep Lindsay in your prayers.
