Lindsay has been struggling to survive with Gastroparesis for 2 years now. This is a rare condition that effecting your stomach and intestinal tract. Her stomach will not open to let the digested food through to the intestinal tract, so the food sit in her stomach and rots until she throws it all back up. This usually happens with in an hour of eating. She lives in constant stomach pain and nausea, and really can’t eat much at all. The way to help her is through a surgery that places a small balloon in her stomach along with a Botox shot in her stomach lining, this will open it up enough to let food through. If it doesn’t happen soon her intestines shut down and won’t do their job either. It’s a vicious cycle really. Due to a bad year financially, there is no insurance, yet they made a little to much for Medicaid to help. Without the $7,000 she cannot get the surgery that is needed to get her stomach up and running again. I pray she can get what she needs so she can regain her life back. Thank you for any help you can offer!
