Teamsters Local 728 clerical staff is collecting funds for Lindsay Stacy. Lindsay is the daughter-in-law of Vernon Stacy (Driver for the Movies) and Rosemary Stacy(Benefits clerk at the Union).

Lindsay Stacy was a 34 yr old vibrant mother of two, wife and daughter. She was passionate about stones and utilized her skill and entrepreneurship to create and manage a business making one-of-a-kind wire-wrapped jewelry. Never afraid to share her opinion, she filled the room with an energetic strength that touched all those around her. Lindsay was a brave and strong fighter, but after three challenging years of fighting Melanoma, she lost her battle early Thursday morning, March 16th.

Lindsay’s battle over the last year started with a stage four diagnosis while pregnant. The toll of this disease cost them the life of their daughter Alice, Lindsay’s ability to maintain the growth of her business, and the significant financial strain caused by medical expenses and days off caring for her as she went through treatments. For these reasons we are requesting that you open your hearts to help the family with support in Lindsay’s final resting place. Any additional funds will be used to support the family during this difficult transition.
