Linda's Grandchildren Disney Trip

Dear Friends and Family:
My name is Linda Perez and I was diagnosed with ALS in October 2015. Since my diagnosis, I have lost the ability to talk, walk, eat, and move my arms. I use a power wheelchair to get around; a tablet that tracks my eyes to talk, and I receive my meals via a PEG tube. Upon diagnosis I was given a life expectancy of 1-5 years.
The reason I am writing to you is that I would like to take my children, their wives, and grandchildren to Disney World in Orlando, FL. I want my grandchildren to enjoy some time with me while I’m still able to travel. I want them to have good memories with me, not just seeing grandma in a wheelchair. I have three boys, Nathaniel, Robert, and Christopher. Their wives are Jasmine, Amy, and Kayterra. My grandchildren: Kinap (7), Muwin (5), Lugs (2), Maliki (3), Linda (6 mos), Aurora (7), Nasir (3), Elijah (4), and Jude (1).
My children moved down from Maine to Virginia to live close to me and to help with my care. It was difficult for them to leave good jobs and start over. I am so blessed to have my boys and grandbabies here with me. My husband, Jayson Perez recently retired from the United States Navy after serving 27 years. He retired earlier then we had plan so he could be my primary caregiver. As you can imagine, the costs for my medical equipment and care have been substantial.
Can you assist me with taking my family to Walt Disney World. The money will go towards lodging, theme park tickets, transportation, and meals. We plan to travel on April 25, 2017. It is such a short time to raise so much, so soon but My disease is progressing faster than expected and I don’t know how much time I have left. I just wish to give my grandchildren this experience with me. Anything you can do to help fulfill my dream of taking my family to Disney would be greatly appreciated.
Warm Regards,
Linda Perez
