On November 4th, 2014 my mother, Linda Lieu, was found passed out in the bathroom of her house and was sent to the hospital ICU unit where she was declared in a comatose state. Following the news of her being in a coma our family was given further unfortunate news that she was completely brain dead from a hemorrhaging located in the back of her head. From that point on we were told that we should prepare ourselves because it was her time to leave us.
As her son, I had the heartbreaking task to watch my mom go. Although it was a horrible fluke of a situation she passed away surrounded by the people who loved her the most.
Linda was a greater woman than we give her credit for. She did more than what was asked from her. Even though she could be stubborn and her temper acted up at times it was all because she was passionate about the things she's doing. She was an amazing cook, a fantastic friend, and a wonderful mother.
I cannot express how much I want her to be alive right now but life is fickle and you never know the outcomes of life.
Funeral costs are exorbitantly expensive and it's hard to really estimate how much everything will be until you get closer to the funeral date. I don't have too much money but I also don't want to force anyone to donate if they can't. It's your choice and the family welcomes any amount, even the smallest. It would really help out and me, along with my family would be most appreciative of the love. Thank you for your time. Everybody take care of themselves and their loved one.
I love you, mom. I'll see you later.
