Help Linda Herman Walk Again: A Journey of Hope
Donation protected
Linda Herman, a mother, grandmother, renowned artist, and inspiring teacher, suffered three strokes in 2024—initially in July, another more severe one in September, and one on the other side of the brain at the end of December. Doctors initially said she wouldn’t survive or that she would never even leave the hospital, but Linda’s determination has proven them wrong. While she is currently paralyzed on her left side, she is fighting every day to walk again.
After months in the hospital, Linda was transferred to a skilled nursing facility, where she made incredible progress through daily physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy.
Unfortunately, she ran out of Medicare hospital days. In early January, she was discharged to home. She needs to be home for 60 days in order to resume coverage to get to acute rehab, where she will work hard to learn to walk again. She still needs round-the-clock care which is $30/hr —costs that insurance won’t cover.
We’re asking for your help to cover these expenses and give Linda a chance to walk again. Donations will support her ongoing care and we need to raise $20K just to cover the next few weeks.
$30 = 1 hour of home care
$150 = 5 hours of home care
$300 = 10 hours of home care
$720 = 1 day of home care
The cost of 1 month of home care is $21,600.
You can also help by purchasing artwork from her website at www.tendertruths.com.
Please consider donating, sharing, and praying for Linda’s recovery. Your generosity means the world to us.
