Linda's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Most of you do not know, but in September my mother was diagnosed with stomach cancer. She had radiation & chemotherapy but the tumor did not shrink. Surgery was her only option.
Mom had the surgery one month ago and has been in the hospital since
The tumor was in such a difficult location, they had to collapse her lung to locate it and she had to have most of her stomach and part of her esophagus removed
The recovery is excruciating
Mom came home last night - with a feeding tube and on oxygen
She will require around the clock care. This care must be done by a Nurse because Home Health Care Aides do not do feeding tubes or administer medication (which must be crushed up and fed through her feeding tube)
This kind of around the clock care is very expensive and not covered by Medicare
My family is suffering both emotionally and financially and any donation will greatly relieve “some” stress
All prayers are also greatly appreciated
