In March 2019, beloved 65-year-old Linda Newman, was given news that every woman fears and one that has completely shook her life and ours - "You have Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer." . Linda is a devoted Wife, Mother of 10, and Grandmother of 19 and counting. She has worked her whole life to support her family. A pillar of the community who has volunteered at her church and in any way possible to those in need. A loyal friend who always made herself available to lend a helping hand. A teacher that is looked up to and has made an impact on her students’ lives. Anyone who knows her would undoubtably tell you she has touched and changed countless lives for the better. Now the tables have turned. Linda is the one who needs help. Her caring husband Richard is now working long days to bring money into the home to keep things afloat. Her family now worries every day and we are doing everything we can to help. What started out as one tumor and was going to be treated by chemo, has now turned into the most advanced stage of breast cancer. Doctors have now said that it is too much to do chemo, it would do more harm than good at this point. However, there is amazing work being done in the field. Cutting-edge treatments, although little-known, are improving outcomes and increasing lifespans. We want Linda to be able to get the best, most promising treatments possible. And to be able to rest easy at night, knowing that treating her cancer will not leave her beautiful family burdened with debt. She will need all the love and support to carry her through this. She has touched so many with her kindred spirit and bright smile. It's now our turn to show her how loved she is and give her the added strength she needs to beat this cancer. The funding from your contributions will go directly towards assisting Linda with prescription costs, uninsured medical expenses, medical co-pays, and any other needs directly related to her care. We are asking you to join us in helping this beautiful woman who we are so proud to call our mother. Whatever you feel comfortable giving will make a difference, and will be gratefully appreciated. Please donate what you can and share this page anywhere possible. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
