Linda Woodley Scholarship Fund

Tax deductible
The theme of this year's VirginiaCAN Conference is The Power of Perseverance, and what better way to honor the persistence of our Commonwealth's students through the turmoil of this year than by awarding scholarships to students who have excelled academically and given back to their community. Please join VirginiaCAN in raising funds for our Linda H. Woodley Service Scholarship!

This fund was established in memory of Ms. Woodley to support young people who have exemplified a commitment to volunteerism. Awards of at least $1,000 are awarded annually to students, nominated by our college access partners, who demonstrate volunteer service, a strong written essay, outstanding academics, and financial need.

Linda H. Woodley was a driving force behind the vision for, and a founding member of, the Virginia College Access Network (VirginiaCAN) and an avid supporter of and participant in volunteer community service. Throughout decades of her career, Ms. Woodley was passionately dedicated to expanding higher education opportunities to citizens of the Commonwealth. Please help us honor her memory with a contribution to assist a future Virginia college student in attaining their educational dreams!
