Linda Wallner Bell Memorial Animal Fund

Donation protected
Our dear friend Linda Wallner Bell passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2024, after a brief illness. Many of you have asked if there is anything you can do to help. A donation to the newly established Linda Wallner Bell Memorial Animal Care Fund is one way you can make a real and immediate difference in memory and honor of this incredible woman.

With her unexpected passing, Linda left behind a number of beloved pets, and we could really use your support to help with their continued placement and care. We immediately took action to ensure the safety and health of all of Linda's animals, including eight dogs, six cats, and two potbelly pigs. The animals are in different stages of rescue -- some already in forever homes and some with long-term fosters. However, some are in temporary situations being cared for but still in need of more secure, longer-term shelter where they can receive the level of care and love they deserve. Even some of the animals placed in longterm foster and forever homes could use help, as these pets have been taken into homes already caring for multiple pets. There is a need for financial help to assist not only with everyday care and maintenance but also with specialized medical care for some of the older and special-needs animals. Our goal is to ensure the care of Linda's animals for the rest of their lifetimes.

We know that not everybody is able to take in an animal, but if you can chip in a gift of ANY size and spread the word, it will help us to honor our beloved Linda and support her cherished pets in their time of need.

Anyone who knew Linda well knew of her love and advocacy for animals. Over the years, she rescued, sheltered, spayed/neutered, and/or rehomed countless animals, often sacrificing her own comfort in service of the creatures in her care. Many of us found our own precious pets thanks to Linda's efforts and her knack for connecting people, animals, and opportunities to foster or adopt. In addition to her own personal and various joint rescue efforts over the years, Linda served on the board of directors for the Waverly Puphouse rescue organization and was a longtime patron and champion of Moores Mill Animal Hospital. In the spirit of Linda's huge, generous heart, please consider giving back to help the pets she sadly left behind.

On behalf of Belladonna, Big Juicy, Brother Will, Clarice, Copperhead, Dachel, Foxie Boo Boo, Jackie, PineStraw, Smokey, Soldier, Tillie, Lady, MegaPint, Minou, and Sallie Torch (check out our pictures below!)...

We ask with gratitude and love,
