Our mother, Linda Sullivan, left us in the morning hours of January 5, 2021. She was a caring and compassionate woman. She had a very strong personality and was very protective, especially when it came to her children and grandchildren. Our mother would always greet you, whether you were a relative or a familiar face that she knew.
One of her passions was to sew. She loved to make baby quilts and was always happy to make cute outfits for the little girls in our family. She was happy to make graduation outfits for family that asked.
Our mother was Diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer in January 2020. She wanted to keep her battle with cancer private and only told a few family members and close friends. She went through an aggressive form of chemo treatment and later she had radiotherapy. Our mother had to go for radiotherapy in Flagstaff, AZ. Our father drove her to treatments in Flagstaff at the beginning of the week and they stayed in the motel for the rest of the week for 7 weeks. She had to have a mastectomy because we were informed that the breast cancer she had was rare and the most aggressive form of cancer. She had to have surgery twice, and with both surgeries she had a series of infections. Her chemo treatments were delayed because her incision sites had to heal before she could start chemo. She went for chemo treatments every other week for four months. After her troubles and battle with cancer we were told on Nov 30 that she was cancer free.
Our mother leaves behind our father, Kee Sullivan Jr, whom she would’ve been married to for 35yrs on April 19th. They have six children -- Lenarda, LaToya, Derrick, Lana, Keane, and Kendrick, with five grandchildren.
She will be missed dearly. We are asking for donations to help put our mother to rest. Thank you! We really appreciate all the love and support we have received and it brings us great comfort in this difficult time. It also brings us great comfort to know that our mother is reunited with her mother Ella Tohannie Mexican and her Father Roy Mexican Sr.
