Linda Smith's Medical/Life Bills

Mom is a very independent person.  She refuesed to accpet help to change her lightbulbs above her kitchen table.  On Monday January 23rd, she tried climbing up on the kitchen table to change the lightbulbs, and she fell in the process.   She has a broken leg: tibia plateau fracture that requires 2 surgeries.  Mom is one of those people that fall between the cracks on insurance.  She makes too much money for medicare, and she cannot afford the obamacare.  She doesn't work full time, and cannot get insurance through work.  Aside from the insurance, she will be off work for a while and still accrue bills from everyday life.  My mother would NEVER ask for help from anyone. Several of her friends have asked what they could do, and have asked about a gofundme page.  So here it is.  If you do contribute, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.  This will be a long road to recovery. Update: mom is very mad that there is a gofundme page. She said she does not want help and she hates these things. Ms. Independent.
