Giovanni "Gio" Pertuz passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2018 at the age of 49. This tragic and sudden occurrence has left his wife Linda and his two young children, Matthew and Nicole, devastated. Gio was a dedicated husband and loving father of his two great kids. A family man that not only gave his time to loved ones but to his community.

Gio was the current President of Mahwah Fire Co. #2 and a volunteer firefighter in his community for over 12 years. He will be dearly missed by all of his fellow first responders and friends alike.

The Mahwah F.D. and the employees of the Township of Mahwah are asking for your help as Linda and her children will need everyone's support during this difficult time. This is an opportunity to assist his family as we know he would jump to do the same for anyone else in need.
