One of our most beloved and talented San Francisco Street Artist passed to the other side yesterday, Sunday August 12, 2018 at approx. 5:00pm. Surrounded by fellow Artists, Linda Pedersen who was a San Francisco Street Artist since 1980 lost her battle to a fast moving cancer. Linda was always cheerful, had a sharp wit and her artistry and dedication was unmatched. Although financially Linda struggled, she would without hesitation be willing to give a helping hand to fellow Artists or donate one to her limited edition prints for a good cause. Linda has gone too soon, she will be missed by all.
To me Linda was not only a fellow Artist but a confidant that was copyediting my book and would critique my other projects. Blunt, but with a simile on her face with complete honesty no matter where the chip would lay.
These funds would allow the Street Artists to have Linda's body cremated and the ashes sent to her only remaining relative living in Portland. If there are any addition funds it would go to a memorial for Linda.
