Linda "Patrice" Providence Bereavement Funds
Donation protected
Linda Providence was an exceptional mother. She was loving, caring, funny, kind-hearted, understanding and a woman of virtue. She was a lady of character and integrity, never compromising her morals and core values for anything. Most importantly, Linda was a woman of great faith.
She was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and migrated to Canada over three decades ago to create a better life for her children and herself.
Up until the time of her passing, she was quietly facing health challenges that many people were not aware of. Even with the condition that she endured for over a decade, she still found a way to pour into others and wear a smile.
Members of Toronto's ballroom community met Linda through an unfortunate circumstance, losing her son Keon Danger Providence at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. We were moved by her strength and her unwavered faith in God. Just two years later, she has gone on to be with her son. In the weeks leading up to her passing, she reached out to me asking if we could be there for her family after her passing.
Her family's wish is to bury her right beside Keon's body, and they have reached out to the funeral home to confirm that this is possible.
With your help, we can make this a reality.
PSALM 34:1-4
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
