Linda Orr Fundraiser

Hi Friends,

My name is Scott and I am Linda’s son. Some of you may know that last month life took a sudden and unfortunate turn for my mother, Linda. Sadly, Linda was in a car accident, which landed her in the hospital for a week. During that time, many previously unknown, serious health issues have come to light, and Linda can no longer live alone and needs assisted care. I have taken on the daunting task of facilitating my mom’s care and living arrangements which are only temporary at this time. I am currently working on getting her set up in a permanent care living arrangement. I know many of you have dealt with loved ones aging and can understand how challenging it can be if nothing has been set up to plan for this inevitable event.

Linda has made many lifelong friendships over the years as President of the Engelbert Humperdinck fan club as well as being a close friend to the family. She has also held close relationships with many of her coworkers from producing Home Shows and also with her tenure at Kaiser Permanente. If you know Linda you know how grateful she would be if you could possibly donate anything you can during these trying times, my mother and I would be truly thankful. I also know that she really loves cards.

These series of events that have led her to be transferred from hospitals to care facilities which has been quite disheartening as well as the lack of personal care that has been presented to us. I am trying to find the best assisted living facility that can attend to her medical needs and provide a safe and comfortable living space. Your donations will greatly help in getting these few months of expenses handled so I can get her long-term care implemented so she can finally rest and feel normal again.
