Linda Medrano

Hello, I am Alyssa Miranda the grand daughter of Linda Medrano. On behalf of my family I am trying to raise money to help with funeral costs and any extra money raised will be used to help pay for medical expenses as well as helping her husband Mike Medrano with any at home bills.

Linda was a caring person that made anyone feel like they were family. She was a mom of 5, and a grandmother and great grandmother to over 20 kids, and a friend to many. She was the heart of our family. Linda loved to be outside, fishing, cookouts, Mary Kay, participating in her church, and of course all things family oriented.

Unfortunately, her health started to decline due to an unhealthy liver caused by genetics. She was back and forth from Rockford to Chicago hospital in hopes of finding a donor. When all hopes were lost, WE HAD A MATCH! She finally got her new liver and was on her way to healthier life.

About the second week of recovery, on her way home the unimaginable happened. She suffered a major brain hemorrhage that ultimately ended her life. She fought a huge fight and we know she did it for her family. As much as we didn’t want to let her go, we knew she believed in God and that she was finally reunited with Him, her mother Norma, and her Son Sergio. With that, she had found her peace.
