Hi everyone, in lieu of flowers, gifts and help. I would like to put a park bench in Dodge Park, in her honor.

My mom absolutely loved to sit and feed squirrels and birds and she loved the outdoors. Her and I and Gage would meet there for little walks and picnics, feeding the wildlife. They would always easily approach her, sensing she was safe to them.

Having somewhere to go and feel like she is there, is a beautiful thing for everyone to be able to have and hold on to.

She would so love to see people enjoy the bench in her honor.

The bench cost is $1,750 and that includes a plaque, with 2 replacements included for when they get weathered.

The city also takes them out and stores them for the winter months, so this bench will be there for a very long time. Any proceeds over the amount of the bench, will be donated to a cat shelter, not chosen yet.

My mom loved her cats so much and I couldn’t take them.
